The European Whey Processors Association (EWPA) (hereafter referred to as the organiser), occasionally holds online competitions and prize draws. Participation in these competitions and draws is governed by the following Conditions of Participation.

The online competitions and prize draws are held by EWPA, Oudergemlaan 22/28, 1040 Brussel, Belgium.
Any legal recourse is excluded.

Definitions of terms
“Content” in regard to competition conditions means all content and information uploaded and other types of input provided by the participants as part of the competition. This can include photos, charts, videos, text, comments or information about places and persons.
Age restriction
To enter, participants must be aged over 18.
Territorial Restriction
Participation is subject to having your home address, office or permanent residency in the region(s) or country(s) listed below:

- Denmark
- United Kingdom
- Ireland
- Austria
- Germany
- France
- The Netherlands
Participation restrictions
People employed by EWPA are not entitled to participate in this competition.
Competition period
Participation in the competition is only possible during the competition period indicated by the organiser for the respective competition. When the closing date of the competition has been reached, it will no longer be possible to participate.
Notification of winners and entitlement to a prize
Participation in the competition is free of charge and does not require the purchase of any goods or services. Only those participants who have provided all the information required on the respective registration form are eligible to participate.
Among all the entries submitted, the winner will be determined based on the answers they have given in the competition. Only one prize per person will be awarded. It is not possible to pay out the cost of the prize in cash or in the form of other assets, or to exchange or transfer it to other persons.
Winners will be notified in a timely manner through the specified contact channel (e.g. email, mobile or social network messaging if specified or if the competition is held within the network).
If the winner is unable to confirm his/her acceptance of the prize, he/she forfeits his/her claim to the prize, and a substitute winner will be selected by the aforementioned procedure. To claim the prize, winners must respond at the latest 2 weeks after notification.
The organiser reserves the right to disqualify participants who manipulate the competition or violate the conditions of participation. Participants can also be disqualified if there is a reasonable suspicion of manipulation or violation of the conditions of participation.
Naming the competition winner
We reserve the right to disclose the winner’s name in online media (wheyforliving.com, Wheyforliving Instagram page and Wheyforliving Facebook page) or in print media in conjunction with a competition or presentation of the participants’ contributions and winners. Winners can refuse permission for this use in the future at any time.
Participants’ responsibility
We are not responsible for the conduct of participants and the content published by the participants in a competition. Furthermore, we are not required to check the content but reserve the right to withdraw it from publication if there are specific indications that the content breaches statutory requirements, official prohibitions, third party rights or good ethics.
We reserve the right to exclude participants without prior notification if they use multiple email addresses, social media accounts or similar to increase their chances of winning without this being expressly permitted. Likewise, we reserve the right to exclude participants from the competition if they technically manipulate the competition or the competition structure or otherwise breach these participation conditions or the law at any time, taking into account general reasonableness criteria.
A violation of these conditions of participation entitles the organiser to exclude the respective participant from taking part in the competition. This applies in particular if the participant provides incorrect information or if photos or other content (e.g. comments) submitted violate applicable laws or the rights of third parties. The same applies to comments that can be viewed as glorifying violence, offensive, harassing or degrading, or that violate social decency in any other way.
If the excluded participant is a winner who has already been drawn, the prize can be withdrawn retrospectively.
Early termination and changes
The organiser reserves the right to prematurely end the competition fully or in part at any time, without observing a deadline, or to change its course if it is not possible for technical or legal reasons (e.g. prohibition by Facebook) to ensure the proper implementation of the guaranteed competition.
If this is the case, the participants have no legal right to participate in or run the competition.
Data protection
Personal data from the participants and any other information provided will be collected, processed and used exclusively for the implementation and realization of this competition/draw and subsequently deleted without delay, in accordance with legal requirements.
By entering the competition/draw, the participant agrees to the processing of his/her data. This includes the sending of the prize notification to the contact details provided.
The collected personal data will be deleted after the implementation and processing of the competition at the latest within 30 days after the end of the competition.
The participant can request information about the personal data stored about him/her at any time. In addition, the general data protection information applies. This can be found here.
